Trust : No One – Update

30 07 2008

That’s me back from Italy and as planned I wanted to get some footage for the sequel. I managed to get several Glasgow and Gatwick Airport internal shots, plus some on flight footage. These airport shots and flight shots are going to be used in the titles, and to represent Trust flying from country to country.

So overall the footage looks good and will work very well :)

Timeline (2003) – Review

29 07 2008

Plot – A group of archaeological students become trapped in the past when they go there to retrieve their professor. The group must survive in 14th century France long enough to be rescued

Review – From the very start the plot was very basic, and you new who the guy was next to the woman in the stone. The film for me was just ok, it wasnt a WOW that was sooo good…..I was a little bored watching this.

No More MySpace

26 07 2008

So after some thought, I have now removed my MySpace profile. I had never really used this, and I think the last time I logged in to it was a few months ago. I use Bebo and Facebook more at present, so why have a 3rd Social Networking site that I dont use and is just building up spam and MEGA amounts of friends requests from people i dont know….so thats it 100% gone and it wont be coming back.

Wanted (2008) – Review

8 07 2008

Plot – “Wanted” tells the tale of one apathetic nobody’s transformation into an unparalleled enforcer of justice. In 2008, we’re introduced to a hero for a new generation: 25 year old employed slacker, WESLEY GIBSON. Wes is the most disaffected, cube-dwelling, clock-punching drone this planet has ever known. His boss chews him out hourly, his girlfriend ignores him routinely, and his life plods on in interminable boredom and routine. Everyone knows this disengaged slacker will amount to absolutely nothing, and so does he, until he meets the sexy, foxy woman named FOX, and then everything changes. Wes’ estranged father is murdered, and the deadly Fox recruits him into The Fraternity, a secret society that trains him to avenge his father’s death, by unlocking his dormant powers. And oh boy does he have powers, as she teaches Wes how to develop his lightning-quick reflexes and phenomenal agility, he discovers that The Fraternity lives by an ancient, unbreakable code: to carry out the death orders given by emotionless Fate itself. Wes, with his wickedly brilliant and sexy tutor, plus the paternal guidance of The Fraternity’s enigmatic leader, SLOAN, young Wes grows to enjoy all the strength and success he ever wanted. But, slowly, he realizes there’s more to his dangerous associates than meets the casual eye. And, as he wavers between new found heroism and vengeance, Wes will come to learn what no one can ever teach him; that he alone controls his destiny

Review – For me the trailer looked good, but it also looked very far fetched and probably showed only the good parts of the film…well I was wrong. This film is very cool from start to end, the camera work, special FX and story line is all great. Yes its far fetched but if you ignore that, and just go to enjoy yourself then you will come out loving this film.

The cast in this film is great and includes; Morgan Freeman (great actor and plays his part very well), James McAvoy (little unknown for me but acted very well) and Angelina Jolie….well what can you say she is MEGA hot, MEGA sexy and fantastic to watch.

This film from start to end was a fun, exciting ride that will leave you wanting more.

Wimbledon (2004) – Review

8 07 2008

Plot – Peter Colt, an English tennis player in his thirties whose ranking slipped from 11th to 119th in the world, considers he never really had to fight for anything as his wealthy but all but close family easily put him trough studies and allowed him to pursue his tennis ambitions, bravely exchanges jokes with his German sparring partner Dieter Prohl, in a similar position, but feels it’s about time to admit he’s getting too old to compete with fitter coming men (or boys) and intends, after a last Wimbledon, to take a job with the prestigious tennis club instead. Just then, by accident, he bumps into Lizzie Bradbury, the American rising star of female tennis, falls in love with her and finds her interest in him changes his entire perception, even gives him the strength to win again. But where will it lead them, especially when her overprotective father-manager Dennis Bradbury proves determined to nip their relationship in the bud, believing it detrimental to her career?

Review – Am not tennis fan to start with, but I decided to give this a go. For me it felt like a tennis version of Notting Hill, and its had a good cast. From start to finish I enjoyed this film very much, it had good jokes, good one lines, and the story was good. Kirsten Dunst is very cute and very attractive in this film, and if your a fan then you will love her in this.

Overall its a very nice little film, that is very enjoyable and has a good cast inc. Kirsten Dunst, Bernard Hill and Sam Neill to name a few.

Reign of Fire – Review

6 07 2008

Plot – It is twenty years in the future, and the planet has been devastated by vicious fire-breathing dragons. The last vestiges of humanity now struggle for survival in at remote ouposts. In a ruined castle in the English countryside, Quinn is desperately trying to hold together a band of frightened, restless survivors. As a boy, Quinn watched his mother die protecting him from one of the beasts, and is still haunted by the memory. One day, a group of American rouges shows up, led by a brash, tough-guy named Van Zam. He claims to have discovered a way to kill the dragons once and for all, and enlists Quinn’s help. But doing so will force Quinn to confront his own frightening memories. This, and Quinn’s responsibilities to those that are under his protection, results in a battle of wills between the two men. In the end, events cause them both to realize that they must work together to defeat the monsters–both without and within

Review – The trailer to this looked very good, and when it was on TV i decided i would write a review. I saw this in the cinema and here is what i thought.

Over all the film has a good dark look, and filled with a good cast list….but that doesnt really help. The films plot line is mega thin and isnt great, the only good thing about this film is the cast and FX.

I was a little bored from start to end, and I dont think i would ever watch it again.

Joe Somebody – Review

6 07 2008

Plot – When underappreciated video specialist Joe Scheffer (Tim Allen) is brutally humiliated by the office bully Mark McKinney (Patrick Warburton) in front of his daughter, Joe begins a quest for personal redemption. He proceeds by enduring a personal make-over and takes martial arts lessons from a B-action star. As news spreads of his rematch with Mark, Joe suddenly finds himself the center of attention, ascending the corporate ladder and growing in popularity. He’s determined to show everyone in his life that he is not a nobody, but a force to be reckoned with.

Review – I heard a lot of mixed reviews about this film, so when it was on TV i gave it a go. From start to finish i didnt really enjoy this, and thought it was Tim’s worst film ever. I would not recommend this to anyone especially Tim fan’s.

Just Shoot Me Season 1 – Review

6 07 2008

Plot – Hot-tempered journalist Maya Gallo got herself fired from yet another job when she made an anchorwoman cry on the air with some gag copy on the teleprompter. Unable to find a job anywhere else and facing eviction, she is forced to go work for Blush, her father’s fashion magazine. Personality conflicts quickly ensue with high-strung ex-model Nina van Horn, philandering photographer Elliot, and wise-guy secretary Dennis Finch.

Review – I started to watch this on channel 4 in the mornings before going to work, it took me a few episodes to get in to the feel and style of the show but then it really grew on me. I was laughing from start to finish, much like i did when watching Friends.

Each episode is very well scripted, and the jokes are very funny some even make you laugh out loud. I ordered the DVD from amazon and loved watching it again, and still found every episode just as funny as i did when i first saw it on TV.

Big Momma’s House – Review

6 07 2008

Plot – FBI agent Malcolm Turner is known best for being a brilliant, master of disguise. Malcolm’s latest assignment sends him to small-town Georgia, where he’s assigned to trap a brutal bank robber (and a recent prison escapee) who they suspect will be coming down to visit his ex-girlfriend Sherry and her son. Malcolm sets up a stakeout across from the home of a larger-than-life southern matriarch known as Big Momma, who’s about to be visited by Sherry. It’s a simple plan, but there’s one big problem: Unbeknownst to Sherry, Big Momma has unexpectedly left town. So Malcolm, decides to impersonate the cantankerous Southern granny. Using a few tricks of disguise, he completely transforms himself into Big Momma, even taking on the corpulent septuagenarian’s everyday routine-from cooking soul food to delivering babies to “testifying” at the local church. In the mean time, Malcolm starts falling for Sherry, who may or may not be hiding some stolen cash. Now, Malcolm/Big Momma must somehow find a way to nab his criminal and the girl

Review – I missed this in the cinema, and wasn’t tempted to get it on DVD so I taped it off TV. I actually enjoyed this film from start to end, I found it a lot better than what I thought it would be. I dont think i could watch it again, or get it on DVD but i found it easy to watch and enjoyed it very much.

Neary 7000 downloads

2 07 2008

I honestly can’t get over how popular Trust has been in terms of downloads, to think a 30min basic thriller movie with a £0.00 budget has been this successful is amazing.

When the downloads passed 3000 I started to write a sequel, and have now 100% completed the 2nd draft. The final version of this script will be ready for October and filming hopefully will start in January.

WOOHOOO nearly 7000
