Dragon Productions October Update

As you know at present we have filmed a little from our very own Doctor Who project, at present due to the change in weather and also cast members not being able to meet this has been delayed a little.

I expect that within the next few weeks, we will start back up and thing will start to get done at a good pace.

My Trust sequel “Trust : No One” I am going to start to film other small parts, one part will include Callum Henderson. This will be filmed in Glasgow, but will be Holland in the film. I have chosen a location that will be perfect for this, and Callum’s section will be filmed within the next 2 to 4 weeks.

I have started to write Best Friends Season 4, but struggling for a good storyline. I have also had a few small ideas for the third and final part in the Trust series…..if i do a third film it will be called “Trust : The Dragons Bite”.

Save The Last Dance (2001) – Review

Plot – A white midwestern girl moves to Chicago, where her new boyfriend is a black teen from the South Side with a rough, semi-criminal past.

Review – This is one film I dont have on DVD and plan to buy, also i plan on getting its soundtrack. The film is very good from start to end, and I enjoyed every second of it. The acting is spot on and the plot is very strong, what helps make this film really good is the soundtrack…some really good tunes.

My favorite part is the very end dance, its very sexy and very very well done. Overall a fantastic film with great cast and storyline.

Ultraviolet (2006) – Review

Plot – A beautiful hemophage infected with a virus that gives her superhuman powers has to protect a boy in a futuristic world, who is thought to be carrying antigens that would destroy all hemophages.

Review – This is another DVD that I watched once and couldnt remember if i liked it or not, so I gave it a second shot. To be honest I wish i didnt, this film is just crap…the special FX are interesting but overall it just sucks.

This is another DVD that is getting taken out of my large collection….next V for Vendetta review soon.

Doom (2005) – Review

Plot – Space Marines are sent to investigate strange events at a research facility on a distant planet but find themselves at the mercy of genetically enhanced killing machines.

Review – This was another random purchase a while ago, and I have watched it once but since I am lowering the size of my DVD collection I decided to start with films that I am unsure if I liked.

Doom, loved the game when I had my 386/486 back in the day…so a movie based on it hmmm they never tend to go down well. For me this was crap…the action was just ok, the scary parts were just not scary….the only good thing well interesting was the 1st person shooter camera style near the end…interesting and not over used.

Overall I didnt really enjoy this film, so this will be another dvd to remove from my collection.

Tenknation Does Products

As most of you know I am in Secondlife and I DJ under the name of Tenknation, until now its just been about music and promoting AICR. I also have plans for a TV chat show called The Tenknation Show, which will help promote AICR and also others within SecondLife

I have been in SL for over 2 years now helping AICR and still am, and I know how things work so I am now going to start planning for a Tenknation shop. I will build all the items myself and also try and script all the items myself and with the help of a friend and work friends.

So far I have built a Photo Frame, yes there loads in SL but not like this and style. I have also created a radio changer and will be selling photos that I take in RL and sell them in SL. Plus lots of other things when I have time.

My plan is to have a few shops around a few sims, and start selling in January 2009. To be honest I dont know if I will get it up by then as I am currently working on 4 things for AICR…2 for this year and 2 for 2009. But hey so far I have managed so ….yes I will.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer Season 5 – Review

Plot : At the young age of 16, Buffy (Sarah Michelle Gellar, Cruel Intentions) was chosen to hunt vampires, demons, and the forces of darkness. After the ordeal at Hemery High Buffy Summers wound up at Sunnydale High. Joined with Willow Rosenberg and Alexander “Xander” Harris, and her watcher Giles.

Review – Season 5 was the season that brought a lot of tears, and fear to all the Buffy fans due to its ending. The talks of a 6th season was only a small percentage, and fans wanted more…would there be well…yes there was but at this point it was unknown.

Season 5 introduces you to Buffys sister, who suddenly fits in and has lots of memories. When you first watch this season your like WTF, but then you just accept it and it all blends in nice.

I don’t really need to go into a big review for this, even though I could write loads and loads for Buffy. If you have liked the previous seasons you will like this one…well maybe not the ending but if you know there is a 6th season (which you should if your a fan) then all will be ok.

Into The Blue (2005) – Review

Plot – A group of divers find themselves in deep trouble with a drug lord after they come upon the illicit cargo of a sunken airplane.

Review : At present I am going through my DVDs and deciding, if i will keep or get rid of selected DVDs from my collection (about 270 DVDs).

This film has a very weak plot line, and isn’t that enjoyable to watch. The only good thing about this film is Jessica Alba in her bikini and undies, apart from that its not really a great movie. There were a lot of parts that I started to get bored at and wanted to switch it off, but I decided to stick it out till the end and then see how i felt about it.

Overall…its ok but as i said the only good thing is Jessica Alba. This is one DVD I will be removing from my collection.

Birth (2004) – Review

Plot – A woman (Nicole Kidman) becomes convinced that a ten year old boy is the reincarnation of her dead husband.

Review – The film is very well done and keeps you interested, from start right to the end as you want to know…is it really him? or is the kid playing a very cruel joke.

The film is loaded with a fantastic cast and all play their part very well, overall its a very interesting film but its not one that you could watch over and over again. There are a few moments in the film, that you think “this is very inappropriate” but it all ties in very nice.

Skinny : Good film with a great cast and interesting story.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer Season 4 – Review

Review – Loving the Buffy I continued and completed Season 4, it just gets better and better with each episode. Though this time round, I did notice that Giles voice every now and then sounded very dubbed and also i spotted Sarah’s stunt double’s face once lol tut tut tut

Overall its great, love it and guess what I have started Season 5

The Tenknation Show

The Tenknation Show has started to get ideas, I want to create an interactive TV show for the SL users where they get to decide whats on it and what i talk about. Think of Diggnation, but the SL version with music and interviews.

I have started to build the set, though my building skills are crap I am taking my time.
