Plot : In a gritty sci-fi fantasy world where dinosaurs did not become extinct, humanity lives under the constant threat of giant predators. Protégé hunter Lilli Murko faces off against a deadly carnivore while her Donti Squad discovers a strange new reptilian threat to their city.
Review : This comic tells the story of what if the meteor that killed the dinosaurs, didn’t hit the earth but was knocked off course…how would like be now? would we be the dominant species and what would it be like to be living with dino’s.
I am not a comic book fan, and I haven’t really looked at one for a long time. I heard that iTunes was starting to sell digital comics, and some of the titles were free to download. I thought I would give a few a shot, to see mostly what they were like and to see if I liked them or not.
This was the second title I downloaded, as the first was a Farscape Preview…but this was the first full title I looked at.
Its and interesting idea, bring them to a digital format and the page turning is nice with the iPod/Phone touch screen.
Neozoic for me was interesting, its plot was a very interesting one as Dinosaurs roamed the planet with the other enhabitants. Parts of it was interesting and parts were a little dull, the ending left you on a cliff hanger and I was interested to see what happened.
Overall it was ok, I dont know if it was just OK due to the fact am not a big comic fan. For £0.59 to purchase these am not to bothered if its crap or not as you dont really mind risking it at that price.
I will be reading a few other free one’s first, before I decide to get the next part.
